China JYFJS-011 Aluminum Alloy Electromagnetic Shut-off Valve - Leading Suppliers & Factory for Gas Safety Solutions
This valve is a normally open shut-off valve with a holding control mode. It remains open without power during normal operation and can automatically close upon receiving a shut-off signal. After closing, it can be manually opened and will automatically close again upon receiving another shut-off signal.
When a leakage accident occurs, the alarm system sounds an alert, instantly providing a DC pulse voltage to the solenoid valve. The coil is energized, driving the valve to quickly close, cutting off the gas source and entering a self-locking state.
When a gas leak occurs, the alarm's capacitor continuously releases a 3-second DC pulse voltage, energizing the coil, closing the valve to cut off the gas supply, and entering a self-locking state.
The interaction of instantaneous electromagnetic force of the coil, permanent magnetic force, and spring force is used to achieve pulse drive, automatic valve closing, and manual valve opening self-holding functions.

Q How does the normally open solenoid valve work without power? The valve remains in the fully open position during normal operation without any power supply. It only closes when it receives a DC pulse shut-off signal from the alarm system, ensuring uninterrupted gas flow under normal conditions.
-
Q What triggers the automatic valve closure? The valve closes automatically when the connected gas alarm system detects a gas leak and sends a DC pulse voltage signal to the solenoid coil. The energized coil drives the valve to close quickly and enter a self-locking state.
-
Q How long is the DC pulse voltage released during a gas leak?During a gas leak event, the alarm system's capacitor continuously releases a 3-second DC pulse voltage to energize the coil, ensuring the valve closes fully and enters a stable self-locking state to cut off the gas supply.
-
Q Can the valve be manually reopened after an automatic closure?Yes. After the valve has automatically closed and entered the self-locking state, it can be manually reopened by operating the Reset Device (Component #6). Once reopened, it will automatically close again upon receiving the next shut-off signal.
-
Q What forces are involved in the valve's operation mechanism? The valve operates through the coordinated interaction of three forces: the instantaneous electromagnetic force from the solenoid coil, the permanent magnetic force, and the spring force. This combination enables pulse drive actuation, automatic closing, and manual self-holding opening functions.
-
Q What is the role of the diaphragm and sealing ring in the valve structure? The diaphragm (Component #2) acts as a flexible barrier that separates the gas flow chamber and assists in valve actuation, while the sealing ring (Component #9) ensures a gas-tight seal when the valve is in the closed position, preventing any leakage past the valve seat.
