Gas accident statistics in the first half of 2024
According to the "National Gas Accident Analysis Report (2024 · First Half Report)" recently released by the Safety Management Working Committee of the China Urban Gas Association, except for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, a total of 181 gas safety accidents occurred in mainland China in the first half of 2024. There were 13 accidents resulting in death and 55 accidents resulting in injury, resulting in a total of 27 deaths and 158 injuries.

Tips for standard use of gas:
01 Gas equipment and pipelines
Should have the strength and sealing to withstand the design pressure and design temperature to ensure stable gas supply pressure.
When the user gas pipeline with a relative gas density of less than 0.75 is in a basement, semi-basement or poorly ventilated place, a gas leak alarm device and accident ventilation facilities should be installed.
03 Gas appliance installation
The household user's gas appliance should be equipped with a flameout protection device, and the gas category indicated on the nameplate of the gas appliance should be consistent with the gas category supplied.
04 Gas pipeline maintenance
The setting of the user's gas pipeline valve should meet the requirements of safety, installation and operation and maintenance. Manual quick-cut valves should be installed in the gas inlet pipe, user pressure regulator, gas meter, and gas appliance.
